What it is
Caffeine is a familiar plant stimulant. Coffee, tea, and guarana seeds all contain it. In a skeletal drawing it is a small fused-ring molecule, C₈H₁₀N₄O₂.
People look it up when they want a sense of how strong a product is, and when they want to compare a patch with a drink.
On our comparison chart, caffeine is its own line, separate from guarana and green tea.
Why it’s in 8 Hour
Caffeine is in the patch for everyday energy support. You wear it. You do not drink it. Two patches are about 8 hours of energy support. Peel the patch off when you want to stop wearing it.
12.8 mg of caffeine per comparison-chart serving (1 to 2 patches). † All ingredients in the patch column are per (2) patches. Divide if using one (1) patch. Figures are from the comparison flyer dated 8/24/15.
